Went back from a speed dating event about 1hr ago. I am so brave that I really did it. I registered for this event on last Friday, because an astrology report said that my dating season for this year is ending soon, and because there is a discussion on the radio & in the lab about women having a baby early in their life are less likely to have breast cancer. Anyway, I clicked the button. However, since then, I am thinking about canceling it almost every day.  Unfortunately (or luckily?) that I was busy preparing for the Chicago trip last weekend, and didn't get to click the cancel button.

 

Actually, it is not bad. Forget about the "dating" part, I had a great opportunity to know many people from different fields, with different backgrounds, doing different jobs and having different interests; and I got a nice practice on communication.

 

It was fun...not sure whether I will have the gut to do it again though...
